Here's a little secret...homeschooling doesn't have to be an expensive endeavor. In fact, you could succeed in giving your child a thorough education with little more than pencils, paper, glue, scissors, crayons, Internet access, a library card....oh, and your imagination. :) Every time I make a trip to the library, it hits me just how many free resources are available to us of which we don't always take full advantage.

Noah is a tad too young for some of the material, but can I just say...WOW. I definitely plan to incorporate this material in our lesson plans in just a few years. And the fact that many of the early American images they provide are primary source documents is just incredible! Not to mention that they are free for your personal use as long as you properly credit the Early American Library. So please...enjoy!
